Talking to voters face-to-face is the best way to earn their support for Democrats up and down the ticket. Join Troy, Hannah, and Matt to knock on some doors and talk to voters about the importance of electing Democrats up and down the ballot!
Don’t worry if you’ve never canvassed before — there will be training and Q&A before the shift starts. We’ll meet at the Lewiston Democratic Committee Office at 621 Main Street to get trained, and then hit the doors to speak with voters.
Just bring yourself, a fully charged phone, and plenty of energy for a great day of canvassing!
If you haven’t already, go to your App Store or Google Play Store, download the MiniVAN app, and create an account before you arrive.

Once you have MiniVAN downloaded on your phone, you can use this test list to practice using the map, finding the houses you are supposed to knock and who lives there, moving through the script, seeing the not home options, and navigating from house to house. Your Field Organizer will also go over all of this with you in the training.
Can’t wait to see you soon!
